LOCATION - Lat 35°06'59", long 89°48'05" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Shelby County, TN, Hydrologic Unit 08010210, at left downstream end of bridge on Germantown Road, 1.7 mi north of U.S. Hwy 72, 3.6 mi downstream of Grays Creek, and at mile 18.9.
DRAINAGE AREA - 699 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - In the summary statistics section of the report for 2011 http://wdr.water.usgs.gov/wy2011/pdfs/07031650.pdf , the instantaneous low flow for Water Years 1970-2011 (165 ft³/s on Aug. 15, 2007) was footnoted as occurring on several days. The exact additional days were Aug. 16-18, 2007. The instantaneous low flow for Water Year 2011 (191 ft³/s on Sep. 4) should have been footnoted as also occurring on Sep. 5, 11-12, and 17-18. In the extremes for the current year section of the report for 2011, a May 1 peak discharge was incorrectly listed in the peak discharge table (this peak was not independent of the May 3 peak discharge).

GAGE - Data collection platform. Datum of gage is 235.849 ft. (NAVD 88) determined from Tennessee Department of Transportation brass disc, and from BM-79-4-19. April 21, 1986, to December 30, 1990, water-stage recorder at site 2.1 mi downstream at datum 9.94 ft lower.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge 33,400 ft³/s, March 14, 1975; maximum gage height 27.98 ft., March 14, 1975; minimum discharge 165 ft³/s, August 15, 2007.
