LOCATION - Lat 38°03'36", long 100°02'57" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 NE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.10, T.23 S., R.25 W., Hodgeman County, KS, Hydrologic Unit 11030006, on west side of dam, 8.0 mi west and 1.0 mi south of Jetmore.
DRAINAGE AREA - 229 mi² of which 43 mi² probably is noncontributing.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is NGVD of 1929.
REMARKS - Reservoir is formed by compacted earthfill dam. Storage began Sept. 8, 2009. Dam was completed in 2009. Total capacity, 24,960 acre-ft. Conservation pool elevation is 2,422 ft, 6,200 acre-ft and auxiliary spillway elevation is 2,444 ft, 24,960 acre-ft. Top of dam elevation is 2,460 ft. Reservoir is used to store water for flood control and recreation. Figures herein represent total contents. Satellite telemeter at station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum elevation, 2,425.22 ft, Oct. 10, 2018, contents, 7,807 acre-ft; minimum elevation, 2,394.23 ft, Aug. 26, 2009, contents, 361 acre-ft.
