LOCATION - Lat 38°07'06", long 99°42'58" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 SE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.22, T.22 S., R.22 W., Hodgeman County, KS, Hydrologic Unit 11030006, on right bank at upstream side of county bridge, at south edge of Hanston, or 10 mi east on U.S. Highway 156 and 0.8 mi south of Jetmore.
DRAINAGE AREA - 405 mi² of which 43 mi² probably is noncontributing.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 2009 to current year.
GAGE -

Water-stage recorder.

The current datum of gage is 2134.624 ft above sea level NAVD88, calculated from a static survey conducted on 6/15/2022.

 

A previous Datum of  2,134.05 ft above NGVD of 1929 was used prior to 6/15/22.

REMARKS - Satellite telemeter at station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - The peak discharge for the period of record was 1,479 cfs at a stage of 17.70 ft. recorded on May 24, 2019.
