LOCATION - Lat 37°16'27.86", long 97°09'44.15" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 NE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.13, T.32 S., R.2 E., Sumner County, KS, Hydrologic Unit 11030013, on the right bank at downstream side near U.S. Highway 160, 0.1 mi east of Oxford, and at mile 724.3.
DRAINAGE AREA - 43,801 mi² of which 8,327 mi² probably is noncontributing.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 2014 to current year. May 2012 to April 2014, operated as a stage-only site at present site and datum.
GAGE -

Water-stage recorder. The datum of the gage is 1,126.56 ft. above mean sea level.(NAVD88) (Static survey,OPUS-RS) and was obtained on Sept. 13, 2017. Previous datum was 1,126.41 ft. above NGVD of 1929.

REMARKS - Satellite telemeter at station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Flood of Sept. 11, 2016 reached at stage of 21.70 ft. with a corresponding discharge of 52,000 cfs.
