LOCATION - Lat 36°56'37", long 94°51'11" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 NE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.05, T.28 N., R.23 E., Ottawa County, OK, Hydrologic Unit 11070206, at Highway 69 bridge, 1.0 mi east of Commerce, OK, 2.0 mile upstream of Garrett Creek and at mile 7.5.
DRAINAGE AREA - 34.4 mi². From automated delineation using 10-meter National Elevation Dataset digital elevation model data dated 10/01/2006 and Watershed Boundary Dataset dated 10/01/2006, using Albers Equal-Area Projection, North American Datum 1983.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR 2012: Drainage area.

July 2004 to current year.

Occasional low-flow measurements, water years 1999-2000, 2002-2004.

GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Geological Survey satellite telemeter at station. Current datum in use is 775.59 NAVD88. Current datum was established by a GNSS Level III REF FRAME: NAD_83(2011)(EPOCH:2010.0000) ITRF2014 (EPOCH:2022.6077)[NAVD88 (Computed using GEOID18)] Tied to RM-6. Prior to 10/01/2022 the datum in use was 775.16 NAVD88.

All estimated periods are considered poor unless noted otherwise.

WATER TEMPERATURE: Maximum, 30.6°C, Jul. 15, 2006; minimum, 0.3°C, Dec. 24, 2004 & Dec. 19 2005. DISSOLVED OXYGEN: Maximum, 13.3 mg/L, Feb. 20,21, 2006; minimum, 3.3 mg/L, April 17, 2006. TURBIDITY: Maximum, 1120 FNU, on July 10, 2006; minimum, <1.0 on many days in 2006.
