LOCATION - Lat 36°22'30", long 94°56'06" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.22, T.22 N., R.22 E., Delaware County, OK, Hydrologic Unit 11070209, on left side of Eucha Dam, 1.8 mi downstream of Galcatcher Hollow, 3.5 mi northwest of Eucha, and at mile 15.
DRAINAGE AREA - 358 mi². From automated delineation using 10-meter National Elevation Dataset digital elevation model data dated 10/01/2006 and Watershed Boundary Dataset dated 10/01/2006, using Albers Equal-Area Projection, North American Datum 1983.
REVISIONS HISTORY - The gage height record for the period of Oct. 06, 2022, to Oct. 26, 2022, was revised by the application of a drift correction, starting from 0.00 and ending at -0.05 feet. 
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2001 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. The current datum in use is 0.42 NAVD88. The current datum was obtained by a GNSS Level II REF FRAME: NAD_83(2011)(EPOCH:2010.0000) ITRF2014 (EPOCH:2022.7033)[NAVD88 (Computed using GEOID18)] Tied to RM-2. Prior to 10/01/2022 datum in use was 0.00 NGVD29.

Reservoir is formed by a concrete dam with an uncontrolled spillway. Storage began in 1952. At normal pool elevation 778.00 ft, the capacity is 75,900 acre-ft.

Malfunctioning equipment resulted in the maximum elevation being undetermined. Lake Eucha Dam Operator recorded the peak at an elevation of 782.64 from staff reading on April 29, 2017, which would have produced a contents of 90,940 acre-ft. 

Maximum published contents, 89,000 acre-ft, Apr. 29, 2017, elevation 782.16 ft.

EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Flood of August 14, 1961, reached a stage of 781.4 NGVD, from City of Tulsa readings.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD -

Maximum contents, not determined at unknown elevation on April 29, 2017; Occurred during gage malfunction. Minimum, 44,300 acre-ft, Dec. 5, 2012, elevation 764.54 ft.
