LOCATION - Lat 36°11'11", long 94°42'24" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.25, T.20 N., R.24 E., Delaware County, OK, Hydrologic Unit 11110103, upstream from bridge on U.S. Highway 412, at left bank 6.0 mi southeast of Kansas, 6.0 mi downstream from Sager Creek, and at mile 2.2.
DRAINAGE AREA - 116 mi². From automated delineation using 10-meter National Elevation Dataset digital elevation model data dated 10/01/2006 and Watershed Boundary Dataset dated 10/01/2006, using Albers Equal-Area Projection, North American Datum 1983.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 1955 to September 1976, April 1979 to September 1990, October 1992 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' satellite telemeter at station. Datum is 854.98 above NAVD 88. Current datum was determined by a GNSS Level II survey REF FRAME: NAD_83(2011)(EPOCH:2010.0000) ITRF2014 (EPOCH:2021.5772)[NAVD88 (Computed using GEOID18)] and tied to RM-20. Prior to 10/01/2021 datum in use was 854.59 feet above NGVD 1929.  Small diversion above station for irrigation.
REMARKS -

Quality of data for all periods can be obtained by contacting the Oklahoma-Texas Water Science Center. 

Estimated periods are considered poor unless otherwise noted.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum peak flow was based on indirect measurement.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Water years 1955-61, 1963, 1975-80, July 1991 to July 1995, July 1996 to current year.
REMARKS - Samples collected periodically by the United States Geological Survey. Specific conductance, pH, water temperature, dissolved oxygen and turbidity, were determined in the field.
