LOCATION - Lat 33°06'06", long 90°10'24" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Holmes County, MS, Hydrologic Unit 08030206, at new 159 foot cement bridge slab (installed 1999 to 2000) on Harland Creek/New Hope road 1.8 mi SE of Howard.
DRAINAGE AREA - 62.1 mi².
PERIOD OF RECORD - Operated as continuous-record gaging station, 1986 to 2000; operated as a flood-hydrograph station, 2001; operated as a crest-stage gage 2002 to current year. PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD WATER QUALITY.-- DISSOLVED OXYGEN: December 1986 to February 1987. pH: December 1986 to January 1989. SPECIFIC CONCENTRATION: December 1986 to February 1987.
