LOCATION - Lat 34°16'17", long 95°54'43" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.26, T.3 S., R.13 E., Atoka County, OK, Hydrologic Unit 11140103, on downstream left bank of bridge on State Highway 3, 1.3 mi downstream from McGee Creek, 2.8 mi northwest of Farris, and at mile 57.7.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,089 mi². from automated delineation using 10-meter National Elevation Dataset digital elevation model data dated 10/01/2006 and Watershed Boundary Dataset dated 10/01/2006, using Albers Equal-Area Projection, North American Datum 1983.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1937 to current year. Monthly discharge only for some periods, published in WSP 1311.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 440.12 above NAVD of 1988 determined by GNSS Level IV Survey using Alltera network with RTK Trimble R-10 tied to RM-11 by USGS Personnel on 08-05-2019.  Prior to 08-05-2019, datum of gage was 439.58 ft above NGVD of 1929. From Oct. 1, 1989 to Oct. 1, 1961, a water-stage recorder at same site and datum 5 ft higher. From Sept. 30 1961 to Mar. 114, 1945, a water-stage recorder at same site at datum 7 ft higher. From Mar. 13, 1945 to Oct. 1937, a nonrecording gage was present at an unknown datum.
REMARKS -

10/01/2022 - 09/30/2023: records rated Good.

Some regulation since June 1959 by Atoka Reservoir, drainage area, 176 mi²; pipeline diversions since November 1963, and since April 1987 by McGee Creek Lake, drainage area 178 mi².
