LOCATION - Lat 34°38'18", long 94°36'45" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.18, T.2 N., R.26 E., Le Flore County, OK, Hydrologic Unit 11140105, in Ouachita National Forest, on downstream side of right bank pier of bridge on State Highway 63, 0.2 mi downstream from Golden Brook, 1.1 mi upstream from Big Branch, 2.1 mi east of Big Cedar, and at mile 157.6.
DRAINAGE AREA - 39.6 mi². from automated delineation using 10-meter National Elevation Dataset digital elevation model data dated 10/01/2006 and Watershed Boundary Dataset dated 10/01/2006, using Albers Equal-Area Projection , North American Datum 1983.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR 2012: Drainage Area.

GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 887.58 above NAVD of 1988  determined by GNSS Level II Survey using Alltera network with RTK Trimble R-10 tied to RM-3 by USGS Personnel on 08-07-2019Prior to 08-07-2019 Datum of gage was 886.97 ft above NGVD of 1929.
REMARKS -

10/01/2020 - 09/30/2021. Records fair. Quality of data for other periods can be obtained by contacting the Oklahoma-Texas Water Science Center.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge for period of record 27,400 ft³/s, May 19, 1990. Maximum gage height for period of record, 19.60 ft, May 19, 1990.

REMARKS -

10/01/2020 - 09/30/2021: Poor. Differences between field and site temperature probes have continued, but still within the correctable range. The site sensor has been replaced in efforts to reduce the poor comparison readings. No significant data loss or deletions occurred.

Quality of data for other periods can be obtained by contacting the Oklahoma-Texas Water Science Center.
