LOCATION - Lat 34°22'48", long 94°14'11" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.30, T.4 S., R.30 W., Polk County, AR, Hydrologic Unit 11140109, on right bank 200 ft upstream from bridge on State Hwy 246, 0.3 mi downstream from Brushy Creek, 3.2 mi upstream from Flat Creek, and 7.5 mi east of Vandervoort.
DRAINAGE AREA - 89.6 mi².

Prior to Aug 10, 2022 datum of gage was  NAVD 88 that appears to be based off of a hand held GPS 786.00 +/- 14 '.  It is unknown when it was changed from NGVD29 (771.88').  GNSS Static (level II) and Differential Leveling surveys were conducted to update datum of gage and found to be 771.74 ft NAVD88 (08/2013).

EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Flood of May 1961, reached a stage of about 23.0 ft, from information by local resident; discharge about 48,000 ft³/s.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum peak stage 20.76 ft May 6, 2009 from floodmark.
