LOCATION - Lat 33°57'44", long 94°03'42" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.23, T.9 S., R.29 W., Sevier County, AR, Hydrologic Unit 11140109, on right bank 50 ft upstream from bridge on State Hwy 371, 2 mi downstream from Brushy Creek, 6.0 mi east of Lockesburg, and at river mile 30.0.
DRAINAGE AREA - 256 mi².

WDR Arkansas 1978: Drainage area.

Prior to Aug 10, 2022 datum of gage was based on NGVD29 (340 ft).  GNSS Static (level II) and Differential Leveling surveys were conducted to update datum of gage and found to be 299.69 ft NAVD88 (06/2016).

Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 299.69 ft above NAVD of 1988 (Reference Frame NAD_83 (2011) (EPOCH:2010.0000), (GEOID18).

Prior to August 10, 2022, Datum of Gage was 340.00 ft above NGVD29. 

EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Flood of May 6, 1961, reached a stage of about 25.7 ft (from floodmarks).
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD PRIOR TO REGULATION - Annual mean prior to regulation, water years 1963 to 1974, 382 ft³/s. Maximum discharge for period of record 64,000 ft³/s May 14, 1968, from rating extended above 23,000 ft³/s on basis of contracted-opening measurement of peak flow. Maximum gage height for period of record 20.86 ft May 14, 1968.
