LOCATION - Lat 32°25'55", long 91°22'00" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 sec.29, T.17 N., R.11 E., Madison Parish, LA, Hydrologic Unit 08050003, near right bank on upstream side of bridge on U.S. Highway 80 at Tendal, 200 ft upstream from Illinois Central Gulf Railroad bridge, and 2.8 mi east of Waverly.
DRAINAGE AREA - 309 mi².

datum. July 11, 1944 to Sept. 14, 1954, nonrecording gage at same site and datum. Water-stage recorder for Tensas River southeast of Tendal
(07369515) used as auxiliary gage for this station since Oct. 1, 1957. See WSP 1711 and 1731 for history of changes prior to Oct. 1, 1957.

EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Flood of May 15, 1927 (affected by overflow from Mississippi River) reached a stage of 34.02 ft.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 4,610 ft³/s, Nov. 19, 1948; maximum gage height, 27.21 ft, May 5, 1991; minimum discharge,
1.1 ft³/s, Sep. 20, 2000 and Oct. 26, 2010, but may have been less during period of indefinite stage-discharge relationship in October 1954.
