LOCATION - Lat 30°30'45", long 91°04'25" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in sec.24, T.6 S., R.1 E., East Baton Rouge Parish, LA, Hydrologic Unit 08070202, near left bank on upstream side of bridge on State Highway 946, 0.5 mi downstream from Blackwater Bayou, and 2.6 mi west of Comite.
DRAINAGE AREA - 284 mi².

REMARKS - Records fair, except for periods of estimated daily discharge, which are poor. Site affected by backwater at high stages. Satellite telemetry and rain gage at station.
