LOCATION - Lat 29°13'52.9", long 90°02'54.7" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Jefferson Parish, LA, Hydrologic Unit 08090301, located on top of 6ftx6ft platform approximately 1.5 miles north of Caminada Pass Bridge.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 2017 to present.
GAGE - Water level recorder consist of a non-contact water stage recorder housed in aluminum shelter approximately 10ft above the water surface.

Datum of gage is 1.28ft below NAVD88 (GEOID12B) EPOCH 2010.0000.

COOPERATION - Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority
REMARKS - Site affected by wind and tide. Satellite telemetry at station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum recorded gage height, 9.71ft, Aug 29, 2021, Hurricane Ida. Minimum recorded gage height, 0.50ft, Jan 17, 2018.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS

INSTRUMENTATION - Water quality multiprobe collecting water temperature, specific conductance, dissolved oxygen, pH, cholorphyll, and turbidity.
REMARKS -

Turbidity data considered poor due to severe biofouling at the site location and extreme wind events causing significant turbulence. 

Extremes may have been exceeded during period of missing record due to Hurricane Ida, 2021.
