SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Oct. 2022 to Present. Oct. 1984 to Nov. 1992 (gage height only).  Records collected at same site intermittently, 1952-55.  Daily stages Mar. 30, 1956 to Sept. 30, 1984 are in reports of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 22.36 ft below NAVD88 GEOID18. Prior to October 2022, datum of gage is 1.78 ft below NGVD 1929.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum gage height, 25.04 ft, on 04/05/2025. Maximum discharge, 20,859 ft³/s, on 02/03/2023. Minimum gage height, 21.03 ft on 10/31/2023. Minimum discharge, -5,715 ft³/s (estimated) on 07/28/2024
