LOCATION - Lat 32°52'24", long 96°55'50" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Dallas County, TX, Hydrologic Unit 12030103, on downstream side of Spur 348 bridge, 0.5 mi upstream of California Crossing Dam and 4.2 mi northeast of city hall in Irving, Texas.
DRAINAGE AREA - 2,537 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 2007 to current year. PERIOD OF RECORD, Water-Quality.-- CHEMICAL DATA: Feb. to Dec. 2008. BIOLOGICAL DATA: Feb. to Dec. 2008.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and concrete control. Datum of gage is 400.00 ft above NAVD of 1988. Satellite telemeter at station.
REMARKS - Since installation of gage, at least 10% of contributing drainage area has been regulated. There are diversions upstream of station for municipal, industrial and other uses.
