LOCATION - Lat 32°50'31", long 96°53'23" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Dallas County, TX, Hydrologic Unit 12030103, on right bank of dam, 0.7 mi downstream of Spur 482, and 4.4 mi northeast of city hall in Irving, Texas.
DRAINAGE AREA - 2,557 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Apr. 1999 to current year (elevations only).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and a concrete weir. Datum of gage is 0.00 ft above NGVD of 1929 and 0.11 ft below NAVD of 1988. To obtain elevations in NAVD of 1988, add 0.11 ft. Satellite telemeter at station.
COOPERATION - Maintained in cooperation with City of Dallas Water Utilities.
REMARKS - Water elevation is regulated by a concrete weir at gage.
