LOCATION - Lat 33°13'30", long 96°22'23" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Collin County, TX, Hydrologic Unit 12030106, on downstream side of State Highway 78 bridge, 4.0 miles north of Farmersville.
DRAINAGE AREA - 104 mi².

PERIOD OF RECORD - Apr. 2007 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 494.27 ft above NGVD of 1929; 494.03 ft above NAVD of 1988. Prior to Oct. 2007, located on channel 680 ft north of main channel. Satellite telemeter at station.
REMARKS - The North Texas Municipal Water District discharges water through a pipeline from Jim L. Chapman Lake into the channel upstream from this station, which accounts for nearly all base flows at this site. No flow at times.
