LOCATION - Lat 32°57'35", long 96°36'51" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Dallas County, TX, Hydrologic Unit 12030106, on downstream side of State Highway 78 bridge, 400 ft downstream from Spring Creek and 1.5 mi southwest of Sachse.
DRAINAGE AREA - 120 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Mar. 1968 to current year. PERIOD OF RECORD, Water-Quality.-- CHEMICAL DATA: Jan. 1969.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 450.00 ft above NGVD of 1929; 450.05 ft above NAVD of 1988. Mar. 1968 to Aug. 25, 1993, on left bank at present datum. Aug. 26, 1993 to Apr. 6, 2012, at downstream side of railroad bridge 185 ft upstream at present datum. Apr. 7, 2012 to present on downstream side of State Highway 78 bridge at present datum. Satellite telemeter at station.
REMARKS - Some records listed in the "Period of Record" for surface water and water quality may not be available electronically. No known regulation or diversions. The North Texas Municipal Water District returns wastewater effluent into a tributary above this station. No flow at times.
