LOCATION - Lat 32°47'55", long 96°29'39" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Kaufman County, TX, Hydrologic Unit 12030106, on downstream right bank of stilling basin approximately 800 ft below Lake Ray Hubbard Dam, 0.4 mi upstream from Duck Creek, 1.7 mi upstream from bridge on U.S. Highway 80, 3.8 mi northwest of Forney, 24.1 mi downstream from Lavon Dam, and 31.7 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,071 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Sept. 2008 to current year (daily mean discharges less than 100 ft³s).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 370.00 ft above NGVD of 1929; 370.15 ft above NAVD of 1988. Satellite telemeter at station.
REMARKS - Since installation of gage, flow has been completely regulated by Lake Ray Hubbard Dam located approximately 800 ft upstream. No flow at times.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum gage height, 26.22 ft, May 30, 2015; minimum daily discharge, 0 ft³s on several days.
