LOCATION - Lat 29°55'15", long 95°50'24" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Harris County, TX, Hydrologic Unit 12040102, on right at Sharp Road, 3.3 mi. upstream from gaging station on Cypress Creek at Katy-Hockley Road, and 7.4 mi. south of Hockley.
DRAINAGE AREA - 80.7 mi².
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 1975 to current year (annual maximum).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is NAVD 1988. Prior to Oct. 1, 2010, datum of gage was 100.00 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum 1929, adjustment for 1973 (96.48 ft above current datum). Satellite telemeter at station.
REMARKS - No known regulation or diversions. Some records listed in the "Period of Record" for surface water and water quality may not be available electronically.
