LOCATION - Lat 30°00'57", long 95°41'50" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Harris County, TX, Hydrologic Unit 12040102, on right bank, 5 ft downstream from bridge on Cypress-Rose Hill Road, 3.2 mi north of Cypress, and 6.9 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 41 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 1982 to Sept. 1992 (daily mean discharge), Oct. 1992 to Sept. 2001 (peak discharges greater than base discharge), Oct. 2001 to current year (daily mean discharge).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is NGVD of 1988, 2001 adjustment. Prior to Oct. 1, 2006, datum of gage 80.00 ft above mean sea level, NGVD 1929, 1973 adjustment (79.23 ft above current datum). Radio telemeter at station. Satellite telemeter at station.
REMARKS - No Flow at times. No known regulation or diversions. Gage height associated with historical peak discharge is referenced to datum then in use. Some records listed in the "Period of Record" for surface water and water quality may not be available electronically.
