- For water years 2014 onward, choose a water year and parameter and an on-demand Water-Year Summary report will be generated.
- For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
- For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.
- Not all sites have reports available for every water year.

LOCATION - Lat 34°10'44", long 101°42'08" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Hale County, TX, Hydrologic Unit 12050005, on downstream side of bridge on Broadway Street in Plainview, 0.5 mi upstream from Atchison, Topeka and Sante Fe Railway Co. bridge, 6 mi downstream from an unnamed tributary, and 28.1 mi upstream from White River.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,291 mi² of which 909 mi² probably is noncontributing.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 1939 to Sept. 1949, Feb. 1961 to Sept. 1978, Oct. 2002 to current year. Records for the periods of Oct. 1949 to Sept. 1953, and Oct. 1956 to Apr. 1960, were unpublished but are available via the U.S. Geological Survey web site. Prior to Oct. 1963, published as White River at Plainview.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 3,341.11 ft above NGVD of 1929. Satellite telemeter at site.
REMARKS - No known regulation or diversions. No flow at times. Some records listed in the "Period of Record" for surface water may not be available electronically.
