LOCATION - Lat 32°16'30.7", long 99°50'08.6" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Taylor County, TX, Hydrologic Unit 12060102, on left bank of westernmost channel, 15 ft left of left end of bridge, and 12 ft downstream from FM 89 just southwest of the city of Buffalo Gap, TX.
DRAINAGE AREA - 111 mi².  
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 2018 to current year (stage only).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1,895.04 feet above NAVD88. Satellite telemeter at station.
COOPERATION - Texas Water Development Board.
REMARKS - Since May 1921, flow has been largely regulated by Lake Abilene near Buffalo Gap, TX (station 08083270) 4.8 river mi. upstream.
