LOCATION - Lat 32°28'31", long 99°44'56" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Taylor County, TX, Hydrologic Unit 12060102, on left bank in Sears Park 320 ft downstream from bridge on Ambler Street in Abilene and 1.8 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 13 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Oct. 1970 to Sept. 1979 (daily mean discharge), May 1993 to Sept. 2000 (periodic discharge measurements), June 2001 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1,678.79ft above NAVD88. Prior to March 22, 2023, datum of gage set at 1678.32ft above NGVD of 1929 (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers benchmark), lowered by 4.00ft from previous setting. Prior to May 23, 2019, datum of gage set at 1,682.32ft above NGVD of 1929. Oct. 1970 to Sept. 1979, water-stage recorder at site 50 ft downstream and 250 ft right at same datum. Satellite telemeter at station.
