SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - September 2014 to current.
GAGE -

Water-stage recorder.  Satellite telemeter at station.

Datum of the gage is 765.155 ft NAVD88 based on a Level 2 Static GNSS survey processed through OPUS: NAD83 (2011)(EPOCH:2010.0000) IGS08 (EPOCH:2019.2593) and Geoid12B.  The survey was completed 04/05/2019 using a TRM that was tied to local gage datum via differential levels. 

Prior to 04/05/2019 the Datum of the gage was 768 ft above NAVD88 determined via DEM interpolation.

 

COOPERATION - The gaging station was built, the equipment furnished and maintained by the USGS for the Upper Brushy Creek Water Control and Improvement District (UBCWCID).
REMARKS - Records fair except for discharges below 1 ft³/s, which are poor.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - August 2014 to current year: Maximum elevation, 3.27 ft, August 27, 2022. Maximum discharge, 3,099 cfs, August 27, 2022.
