LOCATION - Lat 29°06'43", long 95°40'36" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Brazoria County, TX, Hydrologic Unit 12090401, on downstream side of bridge on State Highway 35, 5.1 mi northeast of Sweeny, approximately 31.2 mi upstream from the mouth, and 9.8 mi upstream from the Union Pacific Railroad bridge.
DRAINAGE AREA - 878 mi².  
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 2017 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage and water-velocity recorder. Datum of gage is NAVD 1988.  Satellite telemeter at site.
REMARKS - Daily mean discharge determined after applying Godin Filter to remove tidal effects from unit values.  Some records listed in the "Period of Record" for surface water may not be available electronically.
