LOCATION - Lat 32°11'57", long 101°00'49" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Mitchell County, TX, Hydrologic Unit 12080007, on right bank, 220 ft upstream from right end of bridge on State Highway 163, 2.1 mi downstream from Hackberry Creek, 10.8 mi south of Westbrook, 15.7 mi southwest of Colorado City, and 19.1 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 9,802 mi² of which 7,814 mi² probably is noncontributing.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WRD TX-72-1: 1971. WDR TX-81-3: Drainage area.

GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 2049.44 ft. above NAVD88. Oct. 1958 to Mar. 8, 2023, Datum of gage listed as 2,048.74 ft. above NGVD of 1929. Prior to Nov. 18, 2002, at site 222 ft. downstream on left bank at same datum. Satellite telemeter at station.
