LOCATION - Lat 31°24'58", long 100°23'39" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Tom Green County, TX, Hydrologic Unit 12090105, at Parshall flume on left bank, 1,900 ft. downstream from U.S. HWY 87, 4.2 mi. southeast of San Angelo, Tom Green County, and 6.1 mi. downstream of Lake Nasworthy.
DRAINAGE AREA - Drainage area requested 2024/11/28.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

March 1963 to October 1981 (discontinued). August 2024 to current year.

GAGE - Water-stage recorder and Parshall flume. Datum of gage is 1,855.86ft above NAVD88 as determined by GNSS survey. Prior to Aug. 19, 2024, the datum of gage was 1,855.33ft above NGVD of 1929.

REMARKS - Records good. Discharge represents water released from Lake Nasworthy, principally for irrigation. Local flood runoff is excluded.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum daily discharge, 137 ft³/s July 31, 1981; no flow for many days.
AVERAGE DISCHARGE FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - 8 years (water years 1964-71), no flow; 10 years (water years 1972-81), 19.3 ft³/s, 13,980 acre-ft/yr.
