LOCATION - Lat 30°16'26", long 97°50'40" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Travis County, TX, Hydrologic Unit 12090205, 1.4 mi southwest of intersection of Lost Creek Boulevard and Loop 360, and 6.2 mi west of State Capitol Building in Austin.
DRAINAGE AREA - 107 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Jan. 1979 to Sept. 1980 (periodic gage heights and discharge measurements only), Dec. 1988 to current year.
GAGE -

Water-stage recorder.  Satellite telemetry at station.

Datum of the gage is 590.495 ft. NAVD88 based on a Level 2 Static GNSS survey processed through OPUS with Ref Frame NAD83 (2011)(EPOCH:2010.0000) ITRF2014 (EPOCH:2021.0325) and Geoid 18. The survey was completed 01/12/2021 over RM1. 

The prior datum of the gage was 600 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.

REMARKS - Records fair. No known regulation or diversions. No flow at times. Some records listed in the "Period of Record" for surface water and water quality may not be available electronically.
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - The highest known peak was May 28, 1929, estimated as 39,400 ft³/s, based on slope-area measurement of peak flow at a site about 2.1 mi downstream.
