LOCATION - Lat 30°04'11", long 99°19'17" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Kerr County, TX, Hydrologic Unit 12100201, on left bank, 56 ft upstream and 252 ft to left of left end of bridge on State Highway 39, 0.6 mi downstream from confluence of North and South Forks, 0.8 mi east of Hunt, and at mile 430.9.
DRAINAGE AREA - 288 mi².

REMARKS - Records good for the water year. No known regulation. There are numerous diversions for irrigation above station, amounts unknown. Some records listed in the "Period of Record" for surface water and water quality may not be available electronically.
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum stage since 1900, 36.6 ft, July 2, 1932, from information by local resident (discharge, 206,000 ft³/s, determined by slope-area measurement 4.5 mi downstream from gage).
