LOCATION - Lat 29°09'15", long 99°44'35" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Uvalde County, TX, Hydrologic Unit 12110106, at old road crossing on Whites Ranch, 2.0 mi downstream from Cooks Slough, and 4.7 mi southeast of Uvalde.
DRAINAGE AREA - 132 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Mar. 2003 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 838.39 ft above NAVD of 1988. Satellite telemeter at station.
REMARKS - Water year records rated fair. Mid to High flows rated poor, due to lack of measurements and estimations when gage inundated.
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum stage since 1939, 18.42 ft. August 31, 1953 from flood marks near gage; flood of July 2, 1932 reached a stage of 28 ft, from information by local residents.
