- Water-Year Summary reports summarize a year of hydrologic data in a printer-friendly format.
- For water years 2014 onward, choose a water year and parameter and an on-demand Water-Year Summary report will be generated.
- For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
- For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.
- Not all sites have reports available for every water year.

LOCATION - Lat 36°40'58.22", long 105°39'14.84" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Taos County, NM, Hydrologic Unit 130201010304, on right bank at the State Fish Hatchery, 3.7 mi southwest of Questa, and 3.8 mi upstream from mouth.

REVISIONS HISTORY -
On March 30, 2020, the peak streamflow for water year 2017 was revised because the original value was not the true peak. Ice affected gage-height and discharge values on February 8, 2018 were revised on 04/06/2020. Prior to July 29, 2025 the datum of the gage was 7105 ft above NGVD29 (reported).
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 1969 to July 1978 (discharge measurements only), August 1978 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 7073.84 ft above NAVD88 as determined by a GNSS Level II rapid-static survey performed by the USGS on July 9, 2025. Prior to May 5, 1999, at site about 0.25 mi downstream at datum 11.54 ft lower. Prior to Aug. 16, 1979, at site about 250 ft. upstream at datum 5.55 ft. higher.
REMARKS - Water years 2014-2015; records fair except for estimated discharges, which are poor. Water years 2016-2019; records good except for estimated discharges, which are poor. Diversions for irrigation of about 3,000 acres upstream from station.
