LOCATION - Lat 26°14'07", long 97°35'05" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Cameron County, TX, Hydrologic Unit 12110208, 2005-2006: Gage is located on the downstream side of the Rio Hondo Bridge. 2014 to Current: Gage was re-established on the upstream side of the bumper rail system. Shelter installed approx. 12' above the waterline near the LEW(south of the bridge).
DRAINAGE AREA - 473 mi², 700 square miles, approximate.
