LOCATION - Lat 39°12'26.96", long 106°40'44.82" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Pitkin County, CO, Hydrologic Unit 14010004, on right bank at concrete diversion structure, 95 ft downstream from diversion point to Hunter Creek, 0.9 mi upstream from confluence with Midway Creek, and 8.3 mi east of Aspen.
DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 1980 to August 1982 (seasonal records only), October 1982 to September 1983, and April 2009 to current year (seasonal records only). Intermittent discharge records collected by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation from 1984 to 2008.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and rectangular weir. Datum of gage is 10,177.00 ft above NGVD of 1929 (levels by U.S. Bureau of Reclamation).
REMARKS - Water year 2014; records good except for flows between 0.01 ft³/s and 2.4 ft³/s, which are poor. Water year 2015; records good except for flows between 0.01 ft³/s and 2.4 ft³/s, which are poor. Water year 2016; records good except for flows between 0.01 ft³/s and 2.4 ft³/s, which are poor. Water year 2017; records good except for flows between 0.01 ft³/s and 2.4 ft³/s, which are poor.
