LOCATION - Lat 39°11'48.8", long 106°49'08.1" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Pitkin County, CO, Hydrologic Unit 14010004, on left downstream wingwall of Red Mountain Road bridge, 800 ft upstream from confluence with Roaring Fork River, in Aspen.
DRAINAGE AREA - 43.1 mi².

Prior to Aug. 10, 2021, the elevation of gage was reported as 7,840 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. Prior to September 2009, nonrecording gage at site 400 ft downstream at different datum.
