LOCATION - Lat 40°02'01", long 107°51'42" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.30, T.1 N., R.93 W., Rio Blanco County, CO, Hydrologic Unit 14050005, on left bank at downstream abutment of private bridge, 1.0 mi upstream from Curtis Creek, and 2.5 mi east of Meeker.
DRAINAGE AREA - 760 mi².

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 1901 to December 1906, October 1909 to current year. Monthly discharge only for some periods, published in WSP 1313. Published as "at Meeker" 1901-13.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage is 6,300 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. Prior to Oct. 31, 1906, and May 7 to Aug. 13, 1910, nonrecording gage, and Aug. 14, 1910 to Oct. 19, 1913, water-stage recorder, at site 2.5 mi downstream, at different datum. Oct. 20, 1913 to Sept. 30, 1971, water-stage recorder at present site, at datum 3.00 ft higher prior to Oct. 1, 1933, and at datum 2.00 ft higher, thereafter.
REMARKS - Water year 2014; records fair except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water year 2015; records fair except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor.
