LOCATION - Lat 37°09'58", long 107°34'57" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.26, T.34 N., R.7 W., La Plata County, CO, Hydrologic Unit 14080101, on right bank 1.7 mi. downstream from Pine River Canal, 2.2 mi. upstream from Beaver Creek, and 5.2 mi. northeast of Ignacio.
DRAINAGE AREA - 340 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1999 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage is 6,630 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.
REMARKS - Water year 2014; records good except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water year 2015; records fair except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Diversions for irrigation of about 2,040 acres upstream and about 40,040 acres downstream from the station. Diversion from irrigation can be up to 700 ft³/s. Some waste water is diverted to adjacent basins.
