09386950 ZUNI RIVER ABOVE BLACK ROCK RESERVOIR, NM
LOCATION - Lat 35°06'01", long 108°45'06" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Mckinley County, NM, Hydrologic Unit 15020004, on Zuni Indian Reservation, on left bank downstream from highway bridge on State Highway 36, 0.8 mi upstream from flow line of Black Rock Reservoir, 2.3 mi northeast of Black Rock, and 5.9 mi northeast of Zuni Pueblo.
DRAINAGE AREA - 848 mi² of which 13 mi² probably is noncontributing.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1969 to current year. Prior to October 1974 published as "above Zuni Reservoir."
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry, crest-stage gage, and concrete control. Elevation of gage is 6,480 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.
REMARKS - Water years 2014-2017; records fair except for estimated discharges, which are poor. Water year 2018; records poor. Water year 2019; records fair except for estimated discharges, which are poor.
