LOCATION - Lat 36°18'21", long 112°45'38" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in sec.31, T.34 N., R.4 W., Coconino County, AZ, Hydrologic Unit 15010002, in Grand Canyon National Park, 8.0 mi downstream from Supai, 69 mi downstream from Phantom Ranch, 173 mi downstream from Glen Canyon Dam, and 199 mi upstream from Hoover Dam. (unsurveyed).
DRAINAGE AREA - 3,020 mi² of which 209 mi² probably is noncontributing.
REVISIONS HISTORY - Transmission/Decodes shifted gage height data by 15 minutes starting in August 23rd, 2015 when a FTS DCP was installed. EDL data which has the correct time stamp was uploaded to the DB fixing the issue. Decodes has been adjusted for all new data to be time stamped correctly. Also a backup senor was used from 9-30-16 to 12-11-16. This period previously was marked estimated but now the estimation qualifier has been removed.

EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge unknown, Jan. 2, 1910, flood wave reported as about 20 ft high through Supai Village. Sept. 3, 1990, 26.3 ft, 20,300 ft³/s, based on slope-area computation, flood wave through Supai Village reported as about 14 ft for this event. Minimum discharge unknown.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 17,700 ft³/s Feb. 20, 1993 gage height, 25.22 ft, from flood mark, minimum daily 63 ft³/s on many days in 1997.
