LOCATION - Lat 36°47'25", long 114°05'37" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.20, T.13 S., R.71 E., Clark County, NV, Hydrologic Unit 15010010, at State Highway Bridge 170, at Mesquite, NV.
REVISIONS HISTORY - Elevation of gage from Jan. 2019 to Jul. 24, 2019 was 1560 ft and was revised on Jul. 24, 2019 based on a single-base OPUS-RS level 2 survey.
Water temperature data for the gage sublocation from Jul. 19, 2019 to Oct. 14, 2020 and water temperature data for the high sublocation from Jun. 8, 2020 to Oct. 14, 2020 were revised on June 4, 2024, to remove computed partial daily values from the record.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Flood of Jan. 1, 1989, 61,000 ft³/s, on basis of slope-area measurement of peak flow at Virgin River at Littlefield site about 16 mi upstream, due to failure of Quail Creek Dam.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 8,060 ft³/s (estimated), Mar. 16, 2023, gage height, 15.54 ft; minimum daily, 1.46 ft³/s, Jul. 23, 2022.
