LOCATION - Lat 36°09'35", long 115°02'40" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.33, T.20 S., R.62 E., Clark County, NV, Hydrologic Unit 15010015, on upstream side of box culvert on Charleston Boulevard, and 1.0 mi east of Nellis Boulevard.
DRAINAGE AREA - 144 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Oct. 1988 to current year.
GAGE - Datum of gage is 1710.72 ft above NAVD of 1988. The NAVD of 1988 datum was determined by a level 2 GNSS survey (Reference Frame NAD_83 (2011) (EPOCH:2010.0000), GEOID18) by USGS on February 6, 2020 and tied to RM6. Prior to February 6, 2020, the gage datum was 1705 ft above NGVD of 1929 as determined via topographic map by USGS on August 11, 1989.
REMARKS - Records poor.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 1,860 ft³/s, Sep. 9, 2004, gage height, 11.68 ft; Maximum gage height, 13.24 ft, Sep. 11, 2012; no flow at times, most years.
