LOCATION - Lat 34°15'40.45", long 114°01'44.33" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 SE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.28, T.11 N., R.17 W., La Paz County, AZ, Hydrologic Unit 15030204, on left bank 1.8 mi downstream from Mineral Wash and Havasu National Wildlife Refuge boundary, 5.3 mi upstream from mouth, 17 mi northeast of Parker, and approximately 31 mi downstream from Alamo Dam.
DRAINAGE AREA - 5,337 mi² of which 10 mi² probably is noncontributing.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR AZ-91-1: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1988 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 501.62 ft above NAVD of 1988. Prior to July, 1, 2021, the datum of gage was reported as 500.00 ft above sea level (Bureau of Reclamation benchmark).
REMARKS - Record is rated fair except estimated days which are poor. Record of zero flow are considered excellent. Diversions above station for irrigation, mostly by pumping from ground water. Flow regulated by Alamo Dam.
