LOCATION - Lat 33°13'18.7", long 108°14'31.1" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.25, T.12 S., R.14 W., Catron County, NM, Hydrologic Unit 15040001, 2.4 mi northwest of Gila Hot Springs, NM and 0.1 mi downstream of confluence of West and Middle Forks of the Gila River.
DRAINAGE AREA - 455 mi².  
REVISIONS HISTORY - Prior to April 23, 2024 the datum of the gage was 5653 ft above NAVD88 (determined via DEM).
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2016 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 5628.73 ft above NAVD88 as determined by a GNSS Level II rapid-static survey performed by the USGS on March 21, 2024.
REMARKS - Water years 2017-2021; records good except for estimated discharges and those above 300 ft3/s, which are poor. Prior to Water year 2022, discharges greater than 600 ft3/s were undefined.
