LOCATION - Lat 33°10'47.0", long 108°12'22.6" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Grant County, NM, Hydrologic Unit 15040001, gage is attached to the downstream bridge railing of NM-15 where it crosses the Gila River. The station is 6.6 river miles downstream from the Gila Cliff Dwellings gage (09430010), 5 river miles downstream from the Middle Fork confluence gage (09430020) and 40 river miles upstream from the Gila River near Gila, NM gage (09430500). 
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,510 mi².  
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 2017 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage is 5,556 feet above NAVD of 1988. 
REMARKS - Water years 2017-2018; records good.
