LOCATION - Lat 31°42'01.85", long 110°13'39.28" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 NW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.17, T.20 S., R.21 E., Cochise County, AZ, Hydrologic Unit 15050202, gage is on the left bank, approximately 2.4 mi southwest of Fairbank, and approximately 3.1 mi upstream from confluence with the San Pedro River.
DRAINAGE AREA - 306 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Mar. 1999 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gages. Datum of gage is 3,955.65 ft above NAVD of 1988.  Prior to Nov. 30, 2022, the elevation of gage was reported as 3,980 ft above NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS - Records fair except for those above 100 ft³/s and estimated daily discharges, which are poor.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge 9600 ft³/s, July 27, 2006, gage height 13.55 ft (estimated) from highwater marks, on basis of slope-area measurement of peak flow.
