LOCATION - Lat 32°26'46.92", long 110°29'17.79" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 NE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.34, T.11 S., R.18 E., Pima County, AZ, Hydrologic Unit 15050203, on left bank of bridge 1.5 mi downstream from the Cochise/Pima County line, 0.5 mi east of Redington and 6.4 mi downstream from former gage, sta 09472000.
DRAINAGE AREA - 3,096 mi². of which 696 mi² is in Mexico.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 1998 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 2,812.81 ft above NAVD of 1988.  Prior to Apr. 19, 2022, the datum of gage was reported as 2,820 ft above sea level.
REMARKS - Records poor. Diversions above station for irrigation of about 10,800 acres in 1978, excluding an unknown amount in Mexico.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 19600 ft³/s, Sept 20, 2014, gage height, 13.00 ft. No flow for many days each year.
