LOCATION - Lat 34°53'42", long 112°20'32" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.39, T.18 N., R.1 W., Yavapai County, AZ, Hydrologic Unit 15060202, in Prescott National Forest, on right bank 0.3 mi upstream from Verde River Ranch, 7 mi east of Paulden, 8 mi upstream from Hell Canyon, 8 mi downstream from Granite Creek, and 10 mi downstream from Sullivan Lake. Paulden NE, 7 1/2' prelim map.
DRAINAGE AREA - 2,507 mi² of which 357 mi² probably is noncontributing. (Aubrey Valley Playa, a closed basin).
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR AZ-83-1: 1981. WDR AZ-89-1: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 23,200 ft³/s Feb. 20, 1993, gage height, 14.25 ft, from rating curve extended above 7,600 ft³/s on basis of slope-area measurement of peak flow; minimum daily discharge, 15 ft³/s May 13-23, 1964.
