LOCATION - Lat 33°26'22", long 111°57'37" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 NE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.17, T.1 N., R.4 E., Maricopa County, AZ, Hydrologic Unit 15060106, on left bank at downstream side of Priest Road bridge, 1.3 mi southeast of Phoenix main post office.
DRAINAGE AREA - 13,223 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Dec. 1993 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 1,135 ft above sea level, from topographic map.
REMARKS - Records poor.
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge since 1871, 300,000 ft³/s in Feb. 1891.
